All articles on Income Lab are written by Justin Fitzpatrick, PhD, CFA, CFP, President and Co-Founder of Income Lab. Justin brings over 17 years of experience across financial services and academia, including a PhD from MIT, a CFA charter, and CFP certification.
Our Review Process
Every article is technically reviewed by Income Lab’s research and product team for accuracy. This includes verification of tax rules, regulatory details, product capabilities, and academic citations. Articles referencing competitor products are verified against current pricing and feature sets at the time of publication.
Sources and Citations
We cite primary sources wherever possible: IRS publications, Social Security Administration data, peer-reviewed research, and official product documentation. Academic citations are verified individually. We do not publish AI-generated citations without manual verification.
